This is about my daughter’s recent visit to Paris for a Conference presentation. She was required to go to Paris from Tokyo on 6th July 2022, to attend the Conference from 9th to 13th July. Stay a day on the 14th for a local tour of Paris and return from Paris on the 15th of July.
By the Grace of Sai (Sri) Ram, Conference Organizers granted a Travel Award which entirely bears the cost of the flight charges. They gave the amount even before she started the journey! That was solved, but she had another problem the Japanese sim card she had, is not usable in Europe. A Chinese friend who was to accompany my daughter to Paris helped her by giving her her own card. Unfortunately, the Chinese girl could not make the trip because she tested positive at the last minute. Moreover, a lady at the Tokyo Airport counter especially advised her another sim card with a validity of a month in case it is needed. The journey from Tokyo to Paris via Dubai (for which my daughter had obtained a Transit Visa just a day before) was smooth and uneventful.
She reached Paris on the 7th of July. Using the newly acquired sim card, she could contact one Indian friend residing in Paris. From 9th July to 13th July 2022 she could attend as many sessions of the Conference as possible. Out of some 8000 participants, my daughter was the only one to wear a mask! 12th July was her own Poster Presentation which she said was academically satisfying.
On the same day, she felt a little cough with sputum. There were no other serious symptoms. To make herself sure she took a covid-kit test which came as weakly positive. On the 13th she took another test which came as positive! 15th July was the date of the return journey. Japan is one of the few countries which insists on pre-departure RT PCR test negative Reports before boarding the flight to Tokyo.
It was like a bolt from the blue for all of us. There was nothing we could do except pray to Sai (Sri) Ram. My daughter got busy arranging alternative travel plans. I had to put some extra money in my account so that she can utilize it by using the card for which I was the Primary Cardholder, her name was only Added on.
She took an RT PCR test (which is costly) on the 14th of July. It was expectedly Positive. She informed everything to her boss in Japan, who was kind enough to permit her return journey at the expense of the University since the Airline she came to Paris refused to refund the money.
Amidst all this, she had problems with charging her mobile and laptop, because the charger & adopter she had, works only in Japan and not in Europe! Luckily one Indian (who is based in Paris) she met at the Conference, gave her a charger. With that, she could charge the iPhone and make necessary contact at this crucial juncture.
Meanwhile, she had to vacate the Hotel on 16th July only. Fortunately, her boss booked a hotel that was very near to the airport. One Indian friend (Conference participant) staying in a nearby hotel was to leave for India on the same day. So my daughter hurriedly vacated the current hotel and accompanied her friend to occupy the hotel her boss had booked near the airport. In the process, she forgot to take the iPhone charger that another Indian had given. When she tried to contact the Hotel she had left, nobody was picking up the phone. After some time, she heard the noise of a family coming to occupy the room next to her. It was a Pakistani family just arrived for a tour of Paris. When my daughter explained her situation to them, they immediately gave her a charger only to be returned within half an hour. That was more than enough for charging iPhone.
Her boss advised her to take Covid Test every two days till it is negative. On 16th July, she took a covid-kit test (cheaper) in the morning. It was negative. Even in the evening, it came negative. She felt greatly relieved. But once more she tried the covid-kit test on 17th July (Sunday). Reading was negative for the third consecutive time. Now she felt greatly confident to take the RT PCR test on Monday, 18th July at the airport. Lo! Sai (Sri) Ram! It came negative. Her boss in Japan made arrangements for her return journey via New Delhi to Tokyo on 20th July 2022.
Now she is safely back in Japan by 22nd July 2022. There were many times, we felt it is impossible in such a short time to get a negative test report. (her trip got postponed just for one week). It was one of the most anxious moments we have gone through in recent times.

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Devotee from India says: I prayed Baba when I was facing lots of troubles in 2004. I was not clearing exams, father had health and financial troubles. I wanted the job as soon as possible. I got the job very quickly and was happy that I could do something. Later on, changed jobs quickly and finally got opportunities abroad – it was all like dream come true.
I always remembered that I got all this due to Baba and God, but somewhere I feel I was taking all this for granted. It’s almost 18 years and I feel blessed.
Today I again face issues due to uncertainty, and I wish to pray again, sincerely that please Baba don’t abandon me. I am still dependent on you and much more than before.

Sai Baba Helped At Dubai Airport

Thank you Hetal Ji and team for providing us with this platform where we Sai devotees can share our beautiful experiences with our Sai family. Thank You, Sai for everything you have done for us. How can I even name one thing Sai You gave give us countless blessings. Thank You, Deva. Thank You Sai for helping us go through the immigration process in Dubai, it was such a stressful time Sai and I was why fear, when my Sai is here You again, proved it so true by solving that issues in a few minutes.
At Dubai airport I gave my H4 EAD instead of my AP EAD and the officer rejected the card and told me that my H4 EAD was not valid to enter the USA, we were literally shocked we searched for the AP EAD in my purse and searched the whole document bag and our travel bag too but we could not find, the officer told that he will call the USA officer and see if he permits to accept the soft copy he will let us board the flight or else no, we were completely in a shock but my Sai was there with us and how could we be in the trouble if my Sai is holding our hand, again my Sai came to rescue us.
When again we searched my purse for the last time, you will not believe the AP EAD card was in the purse and I found it. but just a couple of mins back we searched we could not find it but now by SAI’s miracle we found the card and when we gave the card to the officer he was mad at us that we made him call the USA officer but then we asked sorry for our negligence and again by SAI’s grace he forgave us and let us board the flight.
Sai again helped us get through the stressful situation without any trouble. Thank you Sai, I know Deva thank you is a very small word but thank you Deva for everything you have done for us.
I will try my best to follow Your footstep but we are human Sai if we do any mistakes please forgive us, Deva.

Sai Baba Helped In Hardtimes

I got married last year, and my MIL is a typical lady who always aims to separate me from my family. Due to her, I suffered a lot. My sister stopped talking to her upon seeing my suffering. She started blaming my sister in all possible ways. My sister can’t able to take this. And one day she insulted my sister and my sister felt bad and got fits suddenly. We are so panicked about this. And prayed to Baba to help her. Somehow our neighbor brought a Udi packet and kept It on her head. Then after some time, she woke up. All thanks to Baba for my sister’s recovery.

Last few days I am feeling that I am not able to do as much as I used to do puja and all. Still, God bless me with good days. But suddenly last few days I was feeling down and I was worried about my family back in India. I called them twice, and send some messages but no one replied even though they got the message. Today I pray to Baba and requested Him to let me know that they all are ok. Then again I send a message to my family in India and I got a general reply.
Baba, I hope everything is good back home. Please forgive me and bless them all the time.
