Sai Baba’s Blessings For Health And Healing

Experience 1
It was New Year’s Day 2024, and the best way to begin the day, especially the New Year, is by taking Baba’s Darshan. In Delhi, the extreme winter was harsh, but we visited our Baba temple as usual and received His blessings.
My husband had a mild cold since the last week of December 2023, but it did not worsen. I prayed to Baba that his cold should not become severe and trouble him further. During this period, COVID-19 cases were rising, and the extreme cold in Delhi also brought seasonal flu.
On January 5th, my birthday, we again visited Baba’s temple for His Darshan and blessings. I was fine at the time, but the very next day, I developed a mild cold. I believe Baba waited for my birthday to pass to prevent me from falling ill during the New Year and my birthday. I prayed to Baba that my husband should recover, and I would be okay if I fell sick, as I couldn’t bear to see my husband suffer.
My mild cold worsened, leading to severe throat pain. I took over-the-counter medicines, but they did not help, and one night the pain was so intense that I had to see a doctor the next day. At the hospital, I saw Baba’s picture in the reception and felt relieved. Despite taking medicines for a week, my cold and throat pain improved slowly over 2 to 3 weeks. Baba ensured I could manage it, and importantly, He did not allow my husband’s cold to worsen.
During this time, I was asked to travel to Bangalore for a client meeting. Although I was unwell and not eager to travel, I looked forward to visiting my favorite Baba temple, which I had first visited as a child. I prayed to Baba that my trip, including the client meeting, should go smoothly and that I should be well before and during the travel and have a nice Darshan at His temple.
Baba fulfilled my wish. My client meetings were smooth, and I had a wonderful night Aarti Darshan at the temple. A few days before, I had prayed in my mind that when we visit Shirdi, my husband and I should have the opportunity to attend the morning Kakad Aarti. I also love the night Aarti. I was delighted to receive the night Aarti Darshan, which was very special for me.

I went to the temple with my niece around 8:30 pm. After half of the Aarti was over, I considered leaving as my sister-in-law was waiting outside, but I wasn’t completely willing to go. I felt that I hadn’t fully seen Baba and wanted to stay longer. I decided to leave but saw Baba’s picture and felt a sign to stay and receive blessings before I left. I re-entered the temple and saw the full Aarti, taking blessings and feeling completely satisfied.
Baba understands our thoughts and wishes completely and fulfils them to our satisfaction. After returning to Delhi, my cold and throat pain were almost gone, and I felt better. The day after my return, I received a call from my sister-in-law in Chennai, informing me that my mother had fallen and suffered three fractures in her left shoulder. I was shocked and deeply pained. I questioned Baba about why this happened to her, as she is also His devoted follower. I realised that Baba had protected her from worse injuries; if it had been a back or head injury, it would have been much more dangerous.
I thanked Baba for saving her from worse outcomes. I prayed that the surgery would go smoothly and that she would recover completely. The doctor mentioned that if necessary, they would take a small piece of bone from her back and use it for the surgery, and if she couldn’t bear the pain, they would administer full anaesthesia. I was worried and prayed again to Baba to prevent this.
On the day of the surgery, I asked Baba for a sign that everything would be okay. That day, I read a chapter in Sat Charita where Baba cures various diseases of His devotees, which I took as a blessing. The surgery was performed without taking bone from the back or using full anaesthesia. Only local anaesthesia was given, and my mother returned home with no complications. All this happened because of Baba.
My husband and I travelled to Chennai, where I took care of my mother for three days. During this time, we visited my favourite Mylapore Baba temple and thanked Baba from the bottom of my heart.
I want to tell everyone to trust in Baba and leave all your troubles and pains at His feet. He will take care of everything. We just need to stay strong. I was emotionally broken during this incident, but I clearly felt Baba’s presence, supporting me to stay strong.

This happened during my first job. We stayed very far from my office. I had to take a local train and then a bus to reach my office. As usual I started for my office in the morning one day and reached the station on time. I was so engrossed in some thoughts in my mind that I did not notice a fast-approaching local train from one side. I just crossed and then realised a train going fast behind me. But not only this, there was another train coming from another direction which I noticed and just stopped where I was and both the trains one behind me and other in front of me crossed at the same time at jet speed. I held myself tight and closed my eyes and was literally shaking. The track gap between the two trains was very small. It all happened so fast. You can imagine if both the trains crossed at the same time then in what split seconds I got struck there. I used to be thin then and the force of the two-train speed so close to me could have made anything happen there. But my Sai did not allow it. I still feel Sai stopped me at the right time and held me tight to stay at my place until the trains crossed. This life I am currently living is a second one that my Sai has given me.
Experience 3
My sister-in-law and I are childhood friends. We used to visit Baba’s temple near our house every Thursday without fail. We stayed for the entire bhajan, saw the Aarti, received prasad, and then returned home. We are both ardent Baba devotees.
Recently, one Thursday, after performing Baba’s pooja, my sister-in-law began to feel uncomfortable. She was experiencing continuous burping, so she visited a clinic in her apartment to check on it. The doctor checked her blood pressure and was shocked to see it was very high. They immediately performed an ECG test and found some irregularities. They advised her to go to a larger hospital and consult a cardiac doctor.
The next day, she went to the hospital, where they did a blood test and immediately recommended admission, suspecting some blockage in the arteries. They planned to perform an angiogram test. We were all shocked, as she had no previous health problems or symptoms, and she is always active and hardworking.
I prayed to Baba that the angiogram would reveal only mild issues that could be resolved with medication. Unfortunately, it was not so. The doctors confirmed three blockages and immediately performed angioplasty surgery. She stayed in the hospital for three days and then returned home. I was very upset, wondering why Baba allowed this to happen, especially since she is also a devoted follower of Baba. However, I later realised that Baba provided a timely warning, got her admitted, and ensured she was safely treated. Given that she had no prior symptoms, the situation could have been much worse. I thanked Baba from the bottom of my heart for saving her at the right time. Baba once again proved that He is always with His devotees and will not allow anything worse to happen to them or their families.
