Placement

As you might know, the entire world was hit by a recession in 2023. With AI tools being introduced to the market, it became hard for almost everyone to find a job. I’m from a tier 1 college in Bengaluru, and placements have been very challenging here. I’ve seen friends with good grades who haven’t been placed yet. But for me, Sai was there, and He helped me with placements. I’m just an average CS student with above-average programming knowledge. It’s safe to say that I was only good at a few things, not everything. When my current company came for our college placements, I got shortlisted on a Thursday and was given an assignment that day itself. I completed the assignment and made a submission. I doubted whether I’d even get shortlisted. It was almost 2-3 weeks after I submitted the assignment, and I hadn’t heard back from them. I thought I wasn’t selected and lost all hope, but something inside me kept telling me not to lose hope, as I was receiving many positive signs. Then, all of a sudden, I got a call from the company’s HR on a Tuesday, while I was at Baba’s temple, to schedule an interview. I was so happy and immediately prostrated and thanked Baba there. It was a truly great experience for me. The interview was scheduled for Thursday, and I knew I had to be selected, as it was Baba’s day. As you might have guessed, I got selected with a very good package, all due to the blessings of Shri Sai.

Baba Being With Me During My Low Points with My Boss

This happened during the initial phase of my career. There was a project that was very new to the company, and no one had experience with it. I was tasked with working on it after the contract with some service providers ended. Since it was very new, I broke a web page that literally had zero visitors and caused no business harm. However, my CTO was angry and called me, scolding me and showing his anger toward both me and my mentor. It was my 3rd or 4th month in the company, and I was just an intern. I couldn’t handle the situation and started crying during the call. I kept turning my camera on and off whenever I got tears, and he noticed it. He tried to console me after the call ended, but I couldn’t control the pain and broke down in tears alone in a locked room, without letting anyone know. The matter really didn’t warrant such harsh criticism, and I was crying to Baba. I usually find Baba’s messages on my Instagram search feed, so I opened it to read one. I received assurance from Baba, something like, “Everything will be alright, no need to cry, leave everything to me.” This was so timely that it brought back a bit of happiness and increased my trust in Sai manifold.

So, Sai is always watching over us, even when we don’t realise it. Please always trust Him with faith and patience.
