Sai Baba’s Blessing – Dog’s Heartwarming Act of Protection

Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee Murali from India says: In the sacred town of Shirdi, where every step is filled with Baba’s blessings, I experienced something extraordinary that reaffirmed my faith and love for Sai Baba. I live just five minutes away from the Shirdi Sai Baba temple, and my daily routine includes an evening walk to the temple for darshan. Walking back home through a narrow, lonely road surrounded by trees and bushes, I often feel a tinge of concern for my safety due to the dogs that roam the area.

Recently, I noticed something that touched my heart deeply. On my walk home, at a specific spot along the road, a dog began following me. This was no ordinary following. The dog would overtake me, walk ahead, and then stop at a distance to look back as if to ensure I was still there. Once I caught up, he would continue walking ahead, guiding me like a loyal guardian. This happened not just once but repeatedly, every evening. The dog accompanies me until a certain point on the road and then stops, watching me as I continue safely towards home. You can see it visually in the video at the end of my post. I’ve chosen not to include Baba’s image to emphasize that His presence is felt everywhere, not limited to physical representations.

I firmly believe this is Sai Baba’s divine protection manifesting through the dog. Sai Baba, who lived a life of simplicity and unconditional love for all beings, often referred to animals as his dear companions. In the Sai Satcharitra, Baba says, “Whoever feeds the hungry, feeds me.” This incident feels like Baba’s way of reassuring me that I am never alone.

This dog’s actions embody the qualities Baba taught us – selflessness, love, and protection. It reminds me that no act of divine love is too small to notice. I feel an immense sense of gratitude not just to Baba but also to this innocent being who silently takes on the responsibility of guarding me through the dark, lonely stretch of road.

I captured this moment today to share with you all, my Sai Family, as a testament to Baba’s ever-present grace and the beautiful ways he ensures his devotees’ safety and well-being. This dog is a living symbol of faith, protection, and love, and I have grown to respect and cherish him deeply.

This act of kindness from the dog is a reminder to all of us about the silent guardianship Baba extends to every devotee. Let this video inspire faith, trust, and love in your heart. Baba’s ways are beyond our understanding, but they always leave us feeling blessed.

Thankful To Sai Baba For Resolving Sudden Health Issues

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee from India says: I am a very small devotee of Baba and would like to thank the team maintaining this blog. 

I have posted several experiences and would again like to express my gratitude to our dear Baba.

A few days ago, my husband suddenly had blood in one eye. We went to see a doctor. There was a long wait, and while waiting, I was continuously praying to Baba for help. I also thought that if the doctor said it was nothing major, then I would post about it here. When we met the doctor, he assured us that there was nothing to worry about as it happens sometimes. There is no need for medication, and it will resolve on its own in two weeks.

While waiting to see the doctor, I got a call from my child who said that he had vomited. It was very surprising because he was fine. After some time, he vomited again, but after that, he was okay.

I do not know why and how the above two incidents happened all of a sudden. All I understand is that Sai Baba took care of them.
