Shirdi Sai Baba Accepts Tea Vow

My day starts and ends with Baba’s name and prayer. Baba is everything to us, and for every small and big thing, we call on Him and seek His blessings. Recently at work, I was in a tense situation, and I was not sure what to do. Then I sought His divine help. Needless to say, everything went fine. Baba always comes to His devotees’ aid when called with full devotion and patience. Thank You, Baba, for taking care of everything, and forgive us for any mistakes made knowingly or unknowingly. 2nd Experience: I pray to Sai Baba to be with me when I write down this miracle and help me narrate the way I experienced it. Please forgive me for the delay in posting this Baba.

I have posted many experiences on this site and this is the most beautiful experience of mine with our Baba.

I live with my daughter in the USA, and my parents live in India. With the help of Baba and His blessings, we are able to live a peaceful life here. I believe that Baba is always taking care of all our needs and always protecting us. Last year was very tense, as inflation and recession hit badly and there were many layoffs in the industry. Prices went up, and salaries were cut. For a single earner, it was very scary. In our company, they also started with layoffs, and being a single mother with many commitments, I was particularly anxious. We had recently bought a house too, and this recession and inflation scared me to death. I was not sure what to do in case anything happened to my job. I convinced myself by surrendering to our Baba and said to myself, “Why worry when we have Sai in our lives”.

Chapter 15 in Sai Satcharitra being my favourite one to read, I followed the same. I told Baba that I would not take sugar in my tea or coffee until I met You in Shirdi. Please help me with my job and make sure everything goes right. There were a few people who were removed from our group, but our team was untouched. We had a salary cut to compensate for the budget. When I checked with the manager, he mentioned not to worry. This boosted my confidence, and I thanked Baba for taking care of everything.

We visited our home this summer for two months and had plans to visit many places, including Shirdi, as we visited India after so long. I was on leave for a month and working for the next month from India remotely. We thought of covering all places during my leave so that I can work peacefully in the next month. Due to a hectic schedule, I couldn’t make it to Shirdi during my vacation, which was in June. When I started to look for air tickets, I found that July 3rd was a little cheaper and the rest were costly. My work was about to start on the 5th as July 3rd and 4th were holidays in the US.

I decided to book the tickets for July 3rd and return on July 4th. Miracles started to pour from the time I began to look for the tickets. Later, I learned that July 3rd is Guru Purnima. Millions of devotees visit Shirdi on this day, and getting tickets and booking itself is very difficult. But Sai Baba made me book tickets for the same day, and that too at a lower price. I was planning to visit Shirdi with my parents and my kid, so I would have definitely not picked July 3rd as it would be too crowded and difficult to manage with my parents in that crowd. If not for this price, I would have booked tickets for a later date. After knowing that it was going to be Guru Purnima day, my joy had no boundaries, and I thanked Baba for making me see Him on this divine day. We all traveled to meet our Baba on Guru Purnima day. The journey was smooth, and we reached our hotel at noon. I started to look for Darshan tickets, and I had a wish to attend any Aarti. I knew it was not that easy to get tickets at the last minute as it was Guru Purnima Day.

To my surprise, I got an evening Aarti ticket easily, and we decided to start early to join the big queue. Another miracle started: even though it was too crowded, we managed to stand in the front lane for Aarti. We were so blessed to see Baba so closely and stand for so long during the Aarti. Tears started to roll when we were praying and singing Aarti for our Baba. This was the most beautiful moment of our lives. My mom was so happy to see Baba from so close and receive His blessings. I never imagined that Baba would bless us so beautifully on Guru Purnima day. Those moments can only be experienced, and words would fall short of explaining how it felt to stand and sing Aarti to our Baba on Guru Purnima Day in Shirdi.

The next day, I had to meet someone in the donation office room as I was not able to change my address online on the Shirdi Sansthan website. When I was sitting there, a boy brought tea for all the people in the office room and offered me some as well. At first, I said no, as I was unsure if we could drink in the temple premises, but later the officer asked the boy to give me some tea. When I had the tea, it was full of sugar, and I felt so happy that I started to cry. It was my first sip of tea, and I realized that Baba had accepted my prayer and saved my job. Baba showed such a big miracle to this poor devotee. Till today, I get goosebumps when I remember those beautiful moments spent in Shirdi. I was also able to get neem leaves, which made every wish of mine fulfilled by Baba. After returning from Shirdi, I didn’t encounter any trouble in any work I did, and everything happened so smoothly. It feels like our lives have taken a new turn with Baba’s blessings.

Baba hears each and every prayer of His devotees. He always holds our hands and protects us. When called with full devotion, He is always there for us.

Sorry for the long post. I am not a good narrator, but I believe that Baba has helped me write this. He is with me as I’m writing this, and He will always be with us, protecting us. Bless all, Baba.

A Devotee’s Concern: Seeking Sai Baba’s Blessings for Family

For the last many days, I am always concerned about my family in India. I don’t know what I should say about it. I just want them to be very happy and well. I have a little hope that they might be okay. Baba, after Ganpati, once I have a feeling that everything went well, I will share my experience as early as possible. Baba, sorry for everything.
