My mom and I were travelling to a nearby city today as we had a personal appointment at 1 PM. Initially, we had no thought of going to the Sai Baba temple. As we reached earlier, I got a sudden urge to visit our Baba since it’s the start of the new year. Being new to that place, we sought help from the people around us and somehow reached the temple by 12:30 PM. We thought we would just see our Baba and come back. However, upon reaching the temple, we found a huge crowd and learned that the Dhyana Mandapa opening ceremony was taking place. They were distributing Sai Baba idols, and people were rushing to get those idols, standing in queue for hours. My mom and I somehow entered and got Sai Baba idols on this special day. Literally, my eyes started tearing up. As Baba knew everything, he reminded me again: “His man, be at any distance, a thousand kilometres away from him, will be drawn to Shirdi like a sparrow with a thread tied to its feet.”
