Shirdi Sai Baba Helped With My College Admissions

The very first and foremost connection is my name, Vibhuti, which means the sacred ashes Baba kept with Himself. Whenever I visit Shirdi, my eyes fill with tears of joy, and fortunately, tomorrow is the day I am going to see my Baba. Baba is an emotion in itself. Sometimes, like a selfish person, I just keep asking Sai to give me this and that, and I also experience Him and think about Him when those wishes suddenly come true.
Now, talking about my experience, I was 18 years old and my college admission process had started. Unfortunately, it was getting tough because of COVID, and my marks were not that great. I was watching all my friends getting into good colleges. That’s when I started to pray to Sai Baba to get me into a good college. I was lying on my sofa, and beside my sofa, there was a wall on which Sai Baba’s photo was hung. I saw my friend’s Instagram; she had been admitted into one of the best colleges. I casually looked up and asked, “Maza kadhi honar, Sai?” (“When will I get into a good college, Sai?”) Within 6 minutes, I got a call from the college I studied in. The call came at 9:30 PM. I don’t know which college works at night, and among all my friends from the college, none of them received calls at night. Only I did, as far as I know now.

I started watching Sai Baba’s serial on Sony Liv, which you can also find on YouTube. I recommend everyone, irrespective of whether they are devotees or not, to watch that serial as it will calm your mind and develop your faith in Baba. You will think about Him, meditate on Him, and sometimes you might even get your answers. Sometimes, something would be on my mind, and Baba would suddenly answer my prayers through a certain scene or His words.
Now, talking about my experience with Baba, all that I eat, all that I wear, and all that I see is because of Baba. If I weren’t His devotee, I would have nothing. If Baba were not there to guide me, I would be lost. Not having Baba in your life is unlucky; lucky are those who believe in Baba. Baba is my Krishna, my Ganpati, my Ram, my Laxmi, and my Mahadev. Baba performs many small, day-to-day miracles, such as giving me messages through Instagram posts. One night, I said, “Thank You for everything, Sai. I love You, Sai,” and at the very next moment, a post came on my feed where Baba said, “I love all my devotees.” On the same night, my sister said she felt Sai’s presence in our house.
Almost 2.5 years have passed since then. From being a child to now, my experience and belief in Sai have only increased. But I feel that I am not a good devotee to Baba; I am very flawed, and Baba takes care of me. Only Baba, no one else in my life after my parents, has kept me as a priority as Baba does. I have left everything to Baba—my career, my love life—and I know that He will sort out my life. I remember You, Baba, and I am standing in front of You, looking into Your eyes with tears. I am prostrating before You, massaging Your divine feet, touching my head to Your feet, and begging with both hands for You to stay with me always and forever, and to give me Your darshan in dreams, providing eternal bliss to my eyes.
