Unexpected Promotion and Increment

Om Sai Ram. Hetal Mam and team thank you for your service. Here I am sharing Baba’s blessings as promised.

I have been working at my current company for the last 7 years. I have worked sincerely and was expecting a good increment and promotion for the past 4 to 5 years. However, every year my HOD neglected me. He always showed partiality towards me since I was not engaging in flattery. Whenever I felt something was wrong, I spoke up about it directly. For the last 4 years, I have been desperately praying to our sweet Baba for a job change with a good increment, a happy work environment, and a supportive team. Finally, because of Baba’s blessings, I received a job offer in March this year, and on the same day, I resigned.

I was assuming that my management would ask me to stay, and within the next two days, our Plant Head told me that they would match the offer I received from the other company, but I would have to wait until the annual increment, possibly for the next 4 to 5 months. I was a little confused and unable to make a decision. But when we have our Baba, why should we take responsibility for anything? I asked Baba for guidance by drawing chits, and Baba told me to stay with my current company. So, within the next two days, I told HR that I was withdrawing my resignation.

Many of my colleagues and friends were telling me not to do this, but I was sure that whatever Baba advised me to do was best for me.

The next thing that happened in 15 days was that our company was taken over by another company, and I did not know what to do. When a new company acquires another, they usually don’t give increments; instead, the workforce often gets reduced. All my friends and colleagues were taunting me for the last six months, but I kept quiet because my Baba was there to take care of me. It was His decision, not mine. Finally, two days ago, I received my full increment along with a promotion, and this is all my Baba’s bhiksha to me. Thank You, Baba, for Your blessings. I need the same for my future as well. You know how the work culture is here, but it’s Your responsibility to protect me from such bad politics. I should be able to complete all my tasks on time and learn new technologies that will help in my professional growth.

I also want to share that the offer I had rejected from the other company was accepted by a friend of mine. He is now under tremendous work pressure, with working hours exceeding 10 to 12 hours per day, which would have been very inconvenient and frustrating for me. So, Baba protected me from such a situation and did the best thing. Baba, please bless me to always trust You in everything and every moment. Thank You, Baba. If I have forgotten to write something, please forgive me, Baba.

A Mother’s Prayer: Shirdi Sai Baba’s Grace Eases a Child’s Pain

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee from India says: Sairam, one night my son woke up at midnight and started to cry. He was crying so badly that he couldn’t sleep or lie down due to the severe stomach ache he was suffering from, and we couldn’t do anything to help. We were also unaware of any medicines for stomachache for a 5-year-old child. We had never seen him in so much pain and were clueless for around 30 minutes. Then we prayed to Baba to please help us cure him. My wife then had an idea. She remembered we had some churanam at home and mixed it with buttermilk to give to him. He was hesitant to drink it as he didn’t like the taste, but we convinced him that it was necessary to cure his stomach ache. He agreed and drank it in small scoops. Within 5 to 10 minutes, he was completely free of the stomachache and slept peacefully thereafter.

Thanks a lot, Baba. Only after invoking Your aid were we able to think of a solution. With Your blessings, he was relieved of his pain and had a nice sleep.
